With Apple Business Connect, companies of all sizes, including those without a physical storefront, can establish a brand presence that reaches over 1 billion Apple users.
For the first time, businesses globally—regardless of having a physical location—can control their visibility to more than 1 billion Apple users through Apple Business Connect. Any verified business can now create a cohesive brand and location presence across popular applications such as Apple Maps, Wallet, and Mail.
“We’re thrilled to provide all businesses, including those without a physical presence, the opportunity to establish a brand that is visible across the Apple apps used by over a billion people daily,” stated David Dorn, Apple’s senior director of Internet Software and Services Product. “Business Connect is designed to empower businesses to showcase the most accurate and appealing information to Apple users. With these updates, we are enabling even more businesses to connect with customers, foster trust, and expand their reach.”
Tools to Support Business Growth
Since last year, businesses have been able to claim and manage their location cards through Business Connect, allowing them to add and update images and logos, encourage customer actions like ordering food or making reservations directly from the card, and offer special promotions. Now, every business—including those that operate solely online or without a physical location—can register for Business Connect to develop a visual brand identity, facilitating customer connections and building trust.
New Features in Business Connect
With the latest enhancements in Business Connect, businesses can now sign up to showcase their brand in the Mail and Phone apps, as well as customize their logo for Tap to Pay on iPhone.
Branded Mail allows businesses to prominently feature their brand name and logo in customer emails, enhancing visibility in the Mail app and making them more recognizable. Companies can enroll in Branded Mail now, with their logos set to appear to customers later this year.
Furthermore, businesses now have the option to showcase their logo instead of a category icon when processing payments via Tap to Pay on iPhone, reassuring customers that they are transacting with a trusted and verified entity.
In the coming year, businesses will also have the opportunity to register for Business Caller ID. This feature will display their name, logo, and department on the caller ID screen during outbound calls, helping to differentiate legitimate businesses from spam and unwanted calls.
How to Register
owners of virtual, online, and service-oriented businesses can utilize their existing Apple Account or create a new one to sign up for Business Connect through the self-service website, accessible from any mobile device, tablet, or computer. After registration, businesses can start customizing their brand at no cost. Additionally, they can efficiently manage their location presence through listing management agencies such as DAC Group, Rio SEO, SOCi, Uberall, and Yext.
