iPhone 16 Upgraded Camera Specifications:
Just a month before Apple’s event set for September 10, new works have detailed the camera specifications of the iPhone 16 series. The new lineup boasts substantially improved model features. It has better low-light performance, better macro photography, and better video features.
Enhanced Low-Light Performance and Macro Photography:
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will include square dual cameras with a vertical configuration and include a 48 MP main camera and a lower 12 MP ultra-wide module with a brighter f/2. 2 aperture. This configuration will improve the low light photography and macro photography, that the non-Pro iPhone models have never had before.
iPhone 16 Pro Models Boast Advanced Triple-Camera Setup:
16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a triple-camera module with a 5x telephoto lens, a 48 MP main lens, and a 48 MP ultra-wide lens with pixel binning. It will also open up to 48 MP ProRaw and improve the camera’s low light capabilities. Furthermore, the Pro models shall have the capability of recording 3K at 120 frames per second with Dolby Vision.
Introducing the Capacitive Capture Button:
There will be a new capacitive Capture Button installed on all four models. It will function as a half-press force-sensitive button and also act as a mini trackpad. This will enable features like exposure and focus lock, and expose APIs for custom gestures and action definitions to developers.
New Features and Formats to Enhance Mobile Photography:
Other conjectured novelties include the adoption of a fresh JPEG-XL photo format. This format will enhance the quality of photos while also reducing file size. With these important changes in the cameras, Apple is ready to revolutionize the mobile photography.
